What is ESG assessment and reporting? This course dives into suite data tools and frameworks that can be used to assess an organization’s ESG impacts. It consists of four modules. Module 1 offers an overview of ESG and ESG goal setting. This module covers topics related to the global context for ESG, why an organization should report its ESG impacts and how it should go about setting ESG goals. Module 2 dives in deeper to discuss data in the context of ESG. This module addresses topics related to the ESG data landscape, how one creates ESG data, and ESG data concerns. Module 3 is about ESG materiality. It explains what ESG materiality is, why it is important, and how you assess materiality within the ESG context. Finally, Module 4 offers a foundation for understanding ESG reporting. This module addresses topics related to the ESG reporting landscape, reporting trends, selecting the “right” ESG reporting framework, and how you go about developing an ESG report.
