Use your education award benefit from AmeriCorps to earn professional certificates and advanced skills from Arizona State University. ASU CareerCatalyst offers online courses that can upgrade your skill set, help you change your career or learn to master something new.
How do I use my AmeriCorps Education Award?
You can use your Segal AmeriCorps Education Award on eligible ASU CareerCatalyst certificate programs. Registration is a three-step process:
- Review the certificate options and identify the best certificate(s) for you.
- Complete the form to indicate your interest in using your Segal Americorps Education Award on a CareerCatalyst certificate.
- Go to My AmeriCorps to process a payment request for the use of your award funds.
*Payment requests should be designated to Arizona State University.

What kind of CareerCatalyst courses can I take with my AmeriCorps Education Award at ASU?
Use your Segal Education Award for non-credit courses through ASU CareerCatalyst. These online courses are non-credit bearing. However, students will receive a certificate and digital badge upon completion of their courses, which can help you improve your resume and compete for jobs in your market. Earn a certificate and digital badge for completing classes in professional speaking, management training, project management and more.
